Welcome to the Murray Barracks Adventist Church!
Here at Murray Barracks Church, we are members of the world-wide movement of the Adventist denomination. We are Christian believers, led by two appointed pastors, Senior Pastor Jeffery Tangia and Minister Pastor Hakfa Iko.
Our church is open to everyone, and we invite you to join us every Sabbath for worship.
We start with prayer sessions at 8:00 a.m., and all activities end around 4 p.m. for sabbath closing, either at the chapel or families' respective homes.
Adventists believe that Jesus will return to this earth for a second time, and that his coming will be soon. We emphasize the importance of preparedness and being ready for Jesus' return. We also focus on living a holy and healthy lifestyle so that we are ready to meet with him. We believe in taking care of our bodies and minds through regular physical activity and healthy eating, and daily bible studying.
At the Murray Barracks Adventist Church, we believe in the Bible as our source of truth and strive to follow God’s teachings. We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God and that it should be our guide in all aspects of life.
We seek to serve our community by providing compassionate care and a healing presence to those in need. We strive to create healthy communities and respect diversity. We believe in the importance of fellowship, education, and service.
We have friendly and welcoming members who are always willing to offer support and encouragement. We invite members of the public to join us during divine services and partake in our worship.
We invite you to join us this Sabbath for worship services, or to just come to meet some of our members and learn more about us. We welcome everyone with open arms and hope to be a light in our community.
